If you’ve ever dreamed about what it’s like to win one of Willy Wonka’s Golden Tickets and explore his confectionary creation space, then I highly suggest visiting Candytopia, a limited time experience filled with color and candy! Candytopia brings new meaning to the phrase “I want candy” because nearly everything is made out of candy! This interactive exhibit has been traveling through various cities for a while, and is temporarily occupying some prime retail space in the newly opened Fashion District until 1/5/20.
If you’ve ever walked through Museum of Ice Cream, the experience is similar. Candy lovers will journey through 9 unique rooms, each with their own theme and candy sampling. Each room is a feast for the eyes, as well as the sweet receptors. Additionally, many of the rooms have a strategically placed camera that gives visitors the opportunity to capture their sweetest moments for The ‘Gram. Cameras are on a timer, giving guests 10 seconds to find that perfect pose. Notable rooms include the Trolli/Confetti room (be forewarned, the confetti will go EVERYWHERE!), and of course, the Marshmallow Pool, which holds over 300,000 Marshmallows!
